Bug Reports
Where to go to report bugs or get details about known bugs.
Bug Tracking System
The Apache Software Foundation hosts a bug and issue tracking system for mod_python. This can be found at:
If you think you have found a problem, then browse through all the reported issues there, whether they be marked as fixed or not. If you can't find your problem there and aren't sure that it is a problem or not, you might first raise the issue on the main mod_python mailing list. If you are quite confident it is a bug and you are using the latest version of mod_python, then use the bug tracking system to report it, attaching any patches you might have developed to fix the problem.
Details of any issues reported using the bug tracking system are automatically forwarded to the mod_python developers mailing list where they will be discussed as necessary. Any important comments will be added against the issue in the bug tracking system for future reference.
Other Common Issues
Details of a range of other common problems related to configuration and setup can also be found detailed on the mod_python FAQ found at:
The official FAQ page isn't particularly well maintained or thorough in its coverage of issues however.
The archives for the mailing list should also be consulted for details on other recurring issues as well.
